:Initially it was an important record of the wiki's past, it contained discussions about how the game code worked, and it had everyone's contributions recorded. When ConcernedApe took ownership of the wiki, we thought no one's user names or contributions would be copied from the "old" wiki maintained by Chucklefish to the "new" wiki maintained by ConcernedApe, so it was an important record of users' contributions too. But I think that turned out to be illegal (or potentially illegal), so everyone's account was moved from old to new.
